» Kate82 - Canadian news anchors In Canada, we also see the 'cult' of news anchors when we look at Peter Mansbridge at CBC. He has been their face and voice for so long, that it is hard to imagine the network without him. I think that the CBC has done a good job in grooming an apparent successor in Ian Hanomansing. Lloyd Robertson at CTV is also somewhat of an institution, but his presence at the network seems less important than Mansbridge's role at CBC. -- posted by Kate82
